Car Transport From Auctions | Super Cheap Car Transport

Auction collections usually come down to one thing: having the right documents ready before the carrier arrives.

How to organise collection of a car from the auction house

Start with the instructions on the paid invoice and the collection notice for your sale. Requirements can change by auction house, branch, site, vehicle, and buyer type, so treat the list below as preparation guidance rather than a permanent exhaustive checklist.

Prepare these details before booking collection

  • Confirmation that payment has cleared.
  • The paid or zero-balance invoice.
  • The purchaser or account holder's identification.
  • Signed authority allowing a third party to collect the vehicle.
  • The collector's own identification.
  • Any consignment note, job number, or transport document required at the site.

Collecting from Pickles

Pickles currently says collection can be arranged after payment clears and the zero-balance invoice becomes available. A third-party collector needs the member's written authority and must show their own photo identification. Vehicle and branch transport rules can also apply.

Check the current Pickles post-auction collection instructions and follow the transport guidance on your invoice.

Collecting from Grays

Grays currently asks a nominated third party to bring the paid or zero-balance invoice, a copy of the account holder's valid photo identification, and signed release authority. The collector must also provide their own identification. A transport provider should carry printed transport documents.

Check the current Grays third-party collection instructions before the collection date.

Tell us about the vehicle as well as the paperwork

Disclose whether the vehicle starts reliably, can be driven safely, rolls, steers, and brakes. Include any damage, modifications, or unusual dimensions. Correct release documents do not make a non-running or damaged vehicle suitable for standard loading equipment.

For general preparation, read the car transport FAQ.

Start a vehicle quote, or use the portal contact page if you want to check the collection process before booking.

Next step

Use the quote path for standard running vehicles.

If the vehicle is a normal running job and the pickup and delivery are straightforward, start with the quote path. If access, timing, route details, or vehicle condition need more explanation first, contact the team.
